Sculpture by Roy Peratrovich, Jr.

The Process - The artist's concept is developed in a clay sculpture.  When he is satisfied with the design, the model is reproduced in wax and sent to a bronze foundry where a ceramic mold is made and the sculpture is translated into bronze through the lost wax casting method.  Each piece of a Limited Edition is cast and finished in a labor-intensive process, ending with the application of special patinas under the direction of the artist.
